There are common questions on what are the best Chess Opening tips that I should study comes from new or players getting into the game possibly and realising there’re too many different openings to learn all of them so they kind of want to narrow it down and figure out what they should work on first. It also will come from chess players that may have been playing for a while but they really only know a couple openings and I want to figure out maybe some other ones that are popular or that maybe may fit their specific place that a little bit better so I thought it’d be cool to go over the top 5 chess openings tips that I think every chess player should know they all have different facets to them somewhere more for aggressive players some of more from a passive player that like to counter-attack later in the game so it has something for everyone so it helped further.

  • Slav Defence Chess Opening: The first opening is the slav defence one of the more popular ways to defend against the Queen’s Gambit supposed to be Pawn to D4 for Whites and Pawn to D5 for Black and then the Pawn goes to the C4 for White and the defence is on here to C6. Very sound defence when the more common ways that you will defend against the Queen’s Gambit if they’re not playing an Indian defence style play which we have an Indian defence later on in this top 5 list but very very strong defence from black and since the Queens Gambit is one of the more popular openings in all of chess having a strong way to combat that is always very good.
  • London System Chess Opening: The next opening will be looking at is for whites and its Pawn to D4 and for Black its Pawn to D5 and in next move for Whites Bishop to F4 and then Knight F6 for Black and then White Knight to F3 this is the London system doesn’t have to be in a specific order but it’s all about getting these pieces and pawns to these specific squares typically the dark Square Bishop is for White. So having an opening you always want to have more than one D4 opening in the repertoire besides the Queens Gambit that’s very common but Bishop here to F4 kind of changes things up and definitely a very solid opening to have for whites in your opening repertoire.
  • Caro-Kann Chess Opening: The next thing we’re to be looking at our Top 5 Chess Opening Tips is the Caro-Kann we looked at how to attack the King Pawn opening now the White Pawn moved to the E4 and Black Pawn to C6 and usually continues with Pawn to D4 and in black and push forward with Pawn to D5 it is the same Pawn structure as before at the slav defence but this is more attacking that first move of Pawn here to E4 so Caro-Kann make sure that you’re familiar with this and your chess openings.
  • Fried Liver Chess Opening: The next thing in our top 5 list is the fried liver attack one of my favorite attacks because I’m making a list I get to put some pretty aggressive openings in here since I’m a pretty aggressive player the final attack is obviously going to make my list for White Pawn to E4 and Black Pawn to E5 and White Knight moved toward F3 and Black Knight to C6 and White Bishop to C4 and then after Black Knight to F6 and the White Knight want to bring it up here to G5 attacking with his bishop. We’re going to play Pawn capturing after the Knight captures then his Knight’s going to sacrifice here on at F7 so if you like to sacrifice this is definitely going to be one of your goal openings.
  • French Defence Chess Opening: Next opening in our top 5 list is the French defence probably one of the more annoying defences I think to play against White Pawn to E4 and then Black Pawn here to E6 getting ready if white place pawn to D4 and Black Pawn to D5 it’s very solid defence from black so I definitely recommend if you play against E4 a lot and you study this because it gives black a lot of opportunities to counter on the queen side very easy as these Pawns are pointed toward the queen side to push forward with Pawn to C5 and to get his Bishop involved into the game even get your queen into danger I don’t like playing against it is a very very solid defence against Pawn to E4.
  • So that is my top 5 Chess Opening Tips that you should definitely learn if you’re getting into chess you’ve been playing chess for a while it is curious. You know if you want to start playing more what openings you should know these are the Top 5 Chess Opening Tips.
